Troubleshooting

Connecting#

My assistant rejects the URL#

Paste https://connect.convirza.com/mcp, not the address of a docs page or the Convirza website.

Claude says "No sign in" when I add the connector#

Under Authentication, change it to Sign in now, then select Add. Without sign-in the connector can't reach your account.

Claude won't let me add the connector#

On the Free plan, Claude allows one custom connector. Remove the one you have or upgrade your Claude plan. On Team and Enterprise plans, only an Owner (or someone they allow) can add connectors: ask your Claude Owner to add Convirza for the organization, then connect under Customize, then Connectors.

I don't see "Add custom MCP server" in ChatGPT#

Your ChatGPT plan doesn't include custom MCP servers, or your workspace admin hasn't given you permission. Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces support them, and Pro is read-only. Ask your workspace admin to add Convirza or publish it to the workspace.

My client can't reach the server at all#

If you're on a managed device or network, outbound connections to new hosts may be blocked. Ask your IT team to allow connect.convirza.com.

My client only supports SSE#

Use https://connect.convirza.com/sse. All tools work the same way; only the connection method differs.

Signing in#

"No account is linked" after Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft#

Sign-in from your assistant only works for an existing Convirza account. Select Sign up, or start free, create your account, then connect again.

Nothing happens after I select Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft#

Your browser may be blocking the sign-in pop-up. Allow pop-ups for the Convirza sign-in page and try again.

I signed up with Google or Microsoft and have no password#

Use Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft on the sign-in page.

I forgot my password#

Select Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.

"Not authenticated" or a 401 from the server#

Your sign-in has expired or was revoked. Reconnect the Convirza connector in your client (the Quickstart shows where) and sign in again.

Using the tools#

"You don't have permission for this action"#

The full message names your role and what it can do, for example:
Your role (Read Only) can only read data, and this endpoint changes data. Contact your account administrator to request write access.
This is the server respecting your Convirza permissions, not a connection problem. Ask your Convirza administrator if you need a different role. Admin, Standard and Read-only roles can use the server; other roles are refused.

I only see some of my company's data#

Your assistant sees what your Convirza account can see. An admin of a sub-group sees that sub-group. To see more, your account needs broader access in Convirza.

New Convirza tools or fixes don't show up#

Some assistants keep the tool list from when you connected.
ChatGPT: ask your workspace admin to refresh Convirza in the workspace app settings.
Claude Code: run /mcp and reconnect convirza.
Claude and other clients: remove the connector and add it again.

A tool call failed with a validation error#

The server names every field that's wrong. Ask your assistant to show you the exact message, then try again with the missing detail, for example a time zone or start date when creating a campaign.

An uploaded call has no transcript or score#

The call's group needs Conversation Analytics and a scorecard. The upload response says conversation_analytics_enabled: false (no transcript or score) or scorecard_applied: false (a transcript but no score). Processing also takes about a minute, so ask again shortly after uploading.

An upload failed with a 409#

That reference ID (external_id) was already used in your account, so the call already exists. Ask your assistant to look it up instead of uploading it again.

Still stuck?#

Email support@convirza.com with the client you're using, your Convirza role, the exact message your assistant showed, and the request_id if there was one. Every server response includes one, and it lets support find the exact request.
