Move Campaign to Another Group

Moves a campaign and all of its tracking numbers to another group in the same account, and gives the campaign a new owner.

Before you call

destination_group_id: the group to move into (find it with GET /groups). It must be in the same account as the campaign.

owner_user_id: an active Admin with access to the destination group (find one with GET /users).

move_call_history: whether past activity moves too. Defaults to false; see below.

What happens
All changes are made together. If anything fails, nothing changes.

The campaign moves to the destination group with its new owner.

Every tracking number moves with it, including its IVR and geo routing. Destinations, whisper, recording, schedules, call actions, webhooks and audio prompts keep working.

Campaign and tracking number usage counts move from the old group to the new one.

New calls are reported under the destination group straight away.

Call history (move_call_history)

false (default): past calls, recordings, SMS conversations and pre-call records stay reported under the old group.

true: they move to the destination group, with their call and minute counts. earliest_affected_call_date in the response is the oldest call moved, so you know which report periods changed.

Not moved: tags, scorecards, DNI sessions, webhook delivery history and campaign user assignments. Webhooks, audio prompts, geo locations, custom sources and AI voice agents used by the numbers stay owned by the old group.

header when making requests to protected resources.
